You watch me from your seat
Eyes red, face gaunt
I lay before you,
Quiet but hopeful
In shock but in full honesty
Darkness in sight
light loses its appeal
your face, the last thing I see
the last thing I want to see
As the Dirty soot
comes to rest upon me
Devoured slowly, I am
So I have time to think
What keeps you alive
Is the deadliest of all lies
Even so, I cant help but hope
-that you still believe there is something more
