RagDoll

She's a little RagDoll
And no one seems to see
That the dolly that they're playing with
Is also known as me
She's there but no one sees her
She's there, her seams are torn
Has anybody noticed
That her little dress looks torn?

Instead, they keep on playing
And ripping her apart
One rip to her chest and see
Her little beating heart

It's beating slower lately
But she still can feel the beat
But the doll contenues crying
And the owner still mistreats

I cannot even grasp it
The changes that she's made
She wants to rip the seams out
And let them see her change

She also wants to hide it
Make the Toy Box seem like home
But the pain inside her stuffing
Is a pain thats been homegrown

She's all for entertainment
She's never known for more
And lately she's been thinking
She wants to settle this score

So she pulls the little pocketknife
Out of the closet rack
And digs the little sharp part
Into the teddy's back

She feels no pain for teddy
No more than daily scars
She's taking it so sickly
Into the birdie's bars

Now to get the owner
This little knife won't do
Sorry she's so violent
Guess who's the cause, it's you

The weirdest part about it
She's all a joke though, right
But wait until you see it
Her little dolly fight

And Mummy Dear will cry out
As the dolly makes her strike
And out the window, Dolly
Now crawls into the night

So what if this seems freaky
And off the site, we go
These weird sadistic feelings
Have got to take the show

RagDoll rocks in circles
On the little rug with trains
Not one toy now will hurt
My little dolly ever again

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
