WHAT WENT WRONG?

Topic: Suicide

I just wanted to end it all
so I drank it down
with every sip I felt it burn
I felt every last drop work its magik
I laid there alone,
the taste lingering in my mouth
it began devouring me
from the inside out
I felt the end was near,
but I was wrong once again.
it should have killed me then and there
but it failed just like me
and so i ask why didn't I die?
why was Ii spared?
I wanted to die
its what everyone wanted
