You did say those words
I know you said I love you
You even called me
Mrs like your wife
I know that you meant it
I know it in my heart
So why are you gone from my life
Hopes and dreams all shattered
Shards of glass piecing my heart
Like nothing we did ever mattered
How have we fallen apart

| What you wrote was spot on for how I've been feeling this last week, felt like you'd seen into my heart. You put into words the questions going round inside my head and somehow reading them has made me calmer and less sad. Can't explain why that is, it just is. Thank you for sharing. |
