Is it me you really see?
or am I the soul you seek that will set you free
from all that used to be?
NO! NO! it isn't so!
You will take the knife and
stab with deception
turn your eyes to the wayward sky
ingoring my cries
outburst of flame
shall overtake
this heart that breaks!
As I die
with wounds in my eyes
that seep through the body
all that is left is the red blood
drawn from my veins

You have spoken a truth I wish we did not
have to suffer to know. And yet, if we did not
know it existed, how could we rectify it?
There is much to ponder within your words.
Much to take from and think about .. the next
time we find ourselves on either side of this
coin ...

Awesome Jenn, powerful u know i read the tittle and it rang with agitation then i read it and it has your old in your face expressivness. you never let the reader down your hard hitter. keep up the good work. aleays a joy to visit your page . . .

This was deep, powerful and so full of truth that for some it might be hard to conceive.. This was written wonderfully. I do hope though that everything with you is doing okay.. This was wonderfully expressed. Well done.
