I see you in dreams up on a stage,
A beauty frozen in my gaze.
Your voice like an angel in my ear.
Its the only sound I care to hear.
My secret love for you grew strong. In my heart you put a lovers song.
In my dreams I suddenly knew,
My heart belongs to only you!
I fell much deeper as time got longer.
But my fear of rejection was getting stronger.
I melt like butter when I see your face.
And I dream of showering you with diamonds and lace.
I think of you often just as I would a wife.
I couldnt love another but you in my life.
To give yourself to me would be the ultimate gift.
The two saddest words in the world are What If!
