because you sought me
beneath all that is real
because you made me feel
what i hate to feel
becuase you always made me feel beautiful
even when it was far from true
because beneath your eyes
your heart was so blue
because you held me as I cried
because you sang to me at night
because you danced by my side
because your soul was so right
because it was all so important
and now I know why
no one will ever hold a candle
no one will ever come close
no one will have that place in my heart
it will always belong to you
because you sought me
so quietly
because no one ever knew
because you taught me
how to be me
I will always love you
I will take in my heart
all that you gave
until my dying breath
I will remember so real
why you made me feel
just the way that I feel

| Ooh, how gushy... Still, I enjoyed reading it. The repetition added to the overall flavour, and it's warm, gooey soul made for a delictably sweet read. Delicious! |
