In your purgatory
I know you are waiting
never expecting to see me enter
though always hoping, always waiting
here, I stand
as the road there seems an impossibility
for you I would go any distance
if only to again see a glimpse of our place
to again hold the hand
of what seems so distant now
for you I would go to the end
though at this moment I know not how
words once spoken
of meeting in our time
no matter the cost
no matter the crime
words
perhaps not forgotten nor lost
In your purgatory I know you are waiting
and my darling I am coming
however so slow
for though so far
deeply you are in yours
I am collapsing in my own
my darling, my love
I am coming to you
and we will never be alone!

Wow. Kandice, there is a deepness in your words that drags your
reader down to the very depth of emotion! (There will be no surface
dwelling anywhere NEAR your writes).
I hate to pick any piece apart, beacause I believe all the words
and stanzas an important part of the whole picture, but your last
stanza, was entirely brilliant! It seemed, to this reader, like two
sad pieces of a puzzle that were never whole .. and struggling
to find that which would make them so. I was flooded with emotion
within the entire read. Sometimes you actually stun me to
a point where I have to read again, and ponder before I reply
with a comment. (This is a very good thing! )
