Suicide note

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I try to hold, but no longer can.
I try to understand, but know I never will.
I try to care, but have no one to care for.

I stand alone, on a clift.
I stand alone, knowing no one will come.
I stand alone, hoping i will fly.

I look below, see the blue abyss
I look below, see my tear splash into the water.
I look below, hoping to see my freedom

I spread my arms, waiting for forgiveness.
I spread my arms, feeling the breeze for the last time.
I spread my arms, in hope that i will not be remembered.

I want to be loved.
I want to be cared for.
I want to be free.

Pain would be a freedom.
To be able to feel a pin go through my skin.
Dig deep into me.
Too hurt beyond emotion.

Love I would cherish.
I would want too nuture.
I would keep.
I would want to be able to hold onto.

Heart is broken in two.
By selfs own displeasure.
By childish actions and regrets.
By ones own distaste of what I do, and what I am.

Life is just a waiting room.
There must be more.
Death could be it.
Or there could be nothing.

But whatever we say,
whatever we do,
how ever rich or successful or not we become,
we will one day all die.

So why not today,
or tomorrow,
or next week,
to jump, to be free, to fly.

I leave you this message,
in hope someone will read
that she was alone, uncared for and unloved.

If only you had taken the time to talk to her.
That "freak" in the corner.
You would see she wasn't different,
she was probably the most normal of us all.

Very thought provoking, I especially liked the line
"Life is just a waiting room "
That's perhaps true.......perhaps we should all try harder to make sure nobody around us goes to the waiting room before their appointed time
