Can I Have Directions To Civility And Life?

Contributed by Channing on Wednesday, 13th June 2007 @ 08:43:04 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Stranded in a forest,
Trees one way and
Trees another way,
Which direction do I go?
Do I follow the sounds of animals
Or the gust of the wind?
Maybe I should just close my eyes
And walk in a random direction,
To wherever my feet decide,
I could sit and wait for a guide
Yell for one possibly,
But they rarely come,
So what am I suppose to do?
Where do I go?
What action should I take?
For I’m stranded,
Lost to civilization,
Completely alone in this forest of life

-Channing-

I like the imagery of winds and guides. There is, however, some ambiguity in word choice: civility vs. civilization; being alone vs. being in a forest full of life...?

your lines where profound sincerely, so sad brought a smile to my heart for I have been there and only recently have began in a direction which seems promising-Morgues
