Nothing's What It Seems

Contributed by chrono110 on Wednesday, 13th June 2007 @ 01:03:43 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Paste yourself back together
See what cannot be seen
Look at the world differently
Nothing’s what it seems
In the blink of an eye they appear
With a turn of the head they disappear
They come from the wall, ceiling, and the floor
Sometimes they walk straight through the door
That man standing over there is not a man at all
A demon in disguise he fools us all
But not me can’t you see
I see through eyes differently
Paste yourself back together
See what cannot be seen
Look at the world differently
Nothing’s what it seems
Breath deep
Take a step back
He will stop in his tracks
For lo he sees the one behind me
He too you cannot see
Give a grin
Pull a flaming sword
And drive back the demon horde
White wings in a flash
Blue silky fluttering sash
Wrapped in warmth and love
For whatever reason I have help from above
So for now…
I’ll paste myself back together
I’ll see what cannot be seen
I see the world differently
I’m not what I seem

I have experienced many situations where people are not what they seem on the outside. I definitely can identify.

Sometimes it is just what it seems to be and we are too jaded to see this. We let our expectations dictate our actions and come up short almost every time. Thank You....Apple
