A Helping Hand

Contributed by bruce on Wednesday, 13th June 2007 @ 04:23:02 PM in AEST
Topic: political

My Helping Hand

Let me help restore America
to the position we once held
Regaining the trust and respect
from which, we have been expelled

All our present policies
both foreign and at home
Require a radical change
no more need, to just roam

The American people
are foremost in my heart
Giving them back,their dignity
is where, I want to start

Instead of spending, billions of dollars
fighting far to many wars
Lets put that money to good use
helping those, within, our own shores

We need to provide health care
get our country, back out of debt
Start fixing our own problems
that might become a threat

With the help of both the Congress
and all the people here, as well
Our future will be much brighter
with new stories, for them to tell

*looks around....confesses to liking the Clintons...walks quietly out*

Hee Hee Great write, by the way. I've just given up on the whole government and their lies. Even when good decent politicians (there are some, right *smiles*) get in, it is the big corporations of America that rule everything. The whole voting system is a fraud...which by the way, the voting machines are owned by big companies getting some nice ass wiping by the government. We need a revolution, most definitely. Thanks for the thought provoking write.
Peace,
Laura
