Oh I cannot be there for you
If ever you're in need
I cannot be your strength
In a world so bent to deceive
No I cannot be your shoulder
Nor your comfort from said pain
I cannot lead you through the dark
And destruction of your reign
I cannot be the one you hold
Nor the one you swear to love
I dare not be the one so bold
To say all that I think of
No I cannot be yours
Nor can you be mine
And for this alone
I will forever hate Time
Because I love you so
And I want you to know
But it seems that with us
There's still too much to find
