look alive
no backing down from what's before you now
I'm in your room
(it's dark and cold and I'm a mess)
we're quickly consumed
(swept up in a moment and lost for words)
you begin to sweat
as I confess
make no sound
we can't let them know
we continue to continue
without concern
or without your concern
we've been here before
just once more
(don't regret it)
no time to take it all back
It's something I won't forget
replay it
I can never discard what I can't take
in, strangly, a familiar place
your eyes can tell me something
to match the words you say
but your fingerprints refuse to tell the same
marked as a crime scene
it's something not to cross
your physical perfection
matched with my complete imperfection
your sin was more than this
but your unchanging lies
are sure to be forgiven
it's remarkable
the way I fall
before I even get up
for you I'd lack common senses
for you I'd give it all up
for you I've lost every moral
but for you, that's never enough
we continue to continue
it's only one more time
he never has to know
just one more lie
it's just another notch in your belt
as long as we keep this secret
you can just be nothing again..
though your hands are stained
and my heart barely beats
my words are strained
and my mind is weak
I'll come back
to this constant dregrading..
