desperate times call for drastic measures so just reject yourself
let loose the beast within destroy the people around you take in the pain that is released from afar drink the blood of the loved ones fallen the ones fallen from your hand
here's a free ticket a free ride maybe it'll help you find your way
i'll just wait here for another slap in the face

The Ghost Alarms will continue to drink, for right now our heads spin, three hundred and sixty degrees simultaneously. As our bodies sit still frozen, wondering; yes, wondering. We, one at a time, ask, what? Back to the blood brandy we go, hoping to find the answer in our trembling inebriation. Once we have disrobed, we will most likely stare at each other in the eyes, wondering why we went this far, then search anxiously for our shame masks. That is a lot of wondering in shame, for we are many.
may you be chased by more spirits than those in the bottle tonight ..... The Ghost Alarms |

Intenseness deeply felt here. I've wrote some strange stuff, whilst indulging in "things"....not alcohol, I don't drink anymore. I can say some trippy things come out. I found the piece so sad and helpless in feeling. The last line simply cried out to me....(of things I too know)..
"I'll just wait here for another slap in the face"
Good piece, that had me doing some rereading and thinking. Thanks for sharing.
Peace,
Laura |
