Fear

Contributed by deadheadpoet on Sunday, 24th June 2007 @ 05:53:01 AM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

Fear rises within me
A temperature so hot
Perspiration flows profusely
Stability I know not

Never have I known so much fear
It lays so heavily on me
Feel caught under a layer of ice
Too thick to ever break free

Shaking so violently within
Nausea follows all day
Trapped in a "Tom's Twister"
Spinning....spinning, unable to get away

Acidic bile roiling up and
Descension once again
Fire slowly smoldering
The skin now worn so thin

Aching for only truths
Just need to feel stability
All of these falsities I consumed
Slowly poisoning... killing me

When you look at this face
I'm not sure who you are
Eyes of blue have paltered
This time you've gone so far

Time has a way of healing
Souls that have gone through hell
One day I hope to hold your hand
Together our story we shall tell

Sis,

I feel this fear and I have known these feelings. I wish I could erase this from your heart, I wish I could hug you close and tell you it is all going to be ok.

Sweetie ... I know how much you have and continue
to endure. It is so painful to watch you go through this.
Though, I know, I KNOW, it is nothing compared to
the hell in which you now reside. Sis, I just want you to
know I think you are doing remarkably well. You are
writing and leaning on those that love you ... and that's
all you can do, when times are tough and the darkness
surrounds ~

Always here for you

~MG
[... sending you an embrace from across our countries]

I have a chant at my most painful times that I just keep repeating until the pain and hurt leaves. I share it with you now.
"I bless you with love and release you from my heart"
It has worked in my times of feeling totally lost.
Your work is proof you are travelling through all the healing doors and will make it with strength and wisdom to the place of your greatest being. Hugs

How well you have described a form of fear that is not shared by all. Depressive phases also tell of fear. Good flowing poem well written thank you from bern.
