Dripping off the edge-sweet guillotine, I played charades with hands lying limp at the sides and heard heads land in buckets while friends guessed what thing these dead fingers formed:
Some claimed a pike, others coral, and the more imaginative: seaweed; yet, all watched their drowned estimates bubble without oxygen until they choked on the water from the still-eyed answer:
"Point."
