A Totrured Soul Reversed

Contributed by workingharleylady on Tuesday, 26th June 2007 @ 11:08:46 PM in AEST
Topic: PoemsonBeauty

Her eyes were of the
utmost beauty, resembling
a kaleidoscope of green
and golden citrine.

Her skin so incredibly
delicate, you dare not
reach out to touch the
single tear slowly
rolling down her chin
for fear she may shatter.

Adding to her beauty as
always... by her side
the single lovely pink
rose wafting her favored
scent to fill her soul.

Yet it is her soul that
speaks volumes through
those magnificient eyes
of wonder as if to say
to the world...

'I am at peace and free
of any bonds that held
me captive, this of
my own will'.

The tear you were
witness to was shed
with serenity and joy.
Today believe I am a
precious existence.

My spirit now balanced,
memories no longer
fragmented pieces of
a splintered past.

Look into my eyes
what do you see?

Beautiful, through your descriptions I can clearly imagine the picture (although I would still dearly love to see it!).
How true it is when its said that our eyes are a window to our soul.

Take care,
Dom
