stirrings like this
they can't be healthy
promise me one thing and
you'll do nothing but fail me
but what do I care?
no attachment
things like this are plastic
I'll call this a let down in the strangest of ways
a let down that lifts up
on the worst of days
no need to lie
the truths what I fell for
I'll second guess myself
only to do it again
I'll call you a let down
until you let up
because of you
I don't have to feel so much
I am what I've always wanted
a barrier has been built
to hide a past of shame and guilt
These things of me
You'll never know
but I seem to get worse
as i grow
I'll hide my doubt
I'll drown again
nothing can hurt me
just as long as
I stand for nothing
I fall for everything

this poem is very powerful. it reminds me of a song i heard.. its well expressed. but let the walls down or you will never be able to be happy.. great job in expression here
