When blinded by the sun
You look to the moon
But you're left to yourself
Because neither will save you

Stuck inside myself
The weight of two worlds pulling me apart
Time is never on our side
Time ticks to our ultimate demise

They love the battle they create in life
Determined to cover the evil things we hide
Man-made opposition between man-made sides
Will ultimately bring our unfortunate demise

Is the end in sight?
