HYPOCRISY

is today the day through one's regret
with the devils latent cue
unforseen through beauty's light
the lies transform the truth
a cyinical world, a cynical soul
of a being all too cold
where malice is one's forfront
true evil now unfolds
deciect abound - a laughters coo
God's meaning, twisted words
where goodness sent, a sanctioned sect
hypocrisy through and through
a given soul, outward bound
preaching words of living truth
where the money is, the heart truly lives
redemption bought and sold
faith was once a mentor
a center for all to come
where warmth a gentle image
for believers came a home
for some there is true meaning
others masked in lies
the answer will come tomorrow
who's soul will live or die
