Just One More Shot

Contributed by CrimsonTears on Sunday, 8th July 2007 @ 03:51:07 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Just one more shot and Ill be out
No more pain no more thoughts
Drink it down swallow it hard
The sweet poison burns my throat

I cant stand the room is spinning
But Im content just where Im sitting
Youre not there no thoughts of you at all
For the first time in a while I feel good

Just one more shot and Ill be out
No more pain no more thoughts
Drink it down swallow it hard
It slithers so easily down my throat

I cant see everything is blurry
But Im content theres nothing to see
Ill stay here all night until the sun rises
Ill leave when reality settles back in

Just one more shot and Ill be out
No more pain no more thoughts
Drink it down swallow it hard
I cant even taste it sliding down my throat

The morning sun shines my head is pounding
Slowly I rise my legs are feel weak
I guess I drank a little to much
But all I wanted was just to be numb
