The end of the world is pending in accordance to my mood swings.
Right now.
The sky is clear.
Thirty seconds from now, who knows? Doom could be impending.
Ive been told before that I can be difficult.
With me you have to read between the lines.
Ive been told that I can be bitter.
Let me wander, but not too far.
Ive been told that I can be paranoid.
Keep me close, but dont smother me.
I dont want the drama that comes with you.
But Ill thrive in the tension it creates.
So dont start games with me.
I play to win.
And I liked winning more than I ever liked being happy.
Im a very proud person.
You cant change me.
And you cant chain me.
You should know that.
You should also know
I wont hesitate to hurt you if I think Its necessary.
Dont worry, Id never touch you.
Emotional scars last longer and hurt more than any physical pain ever would.
And I can read you better than any book I ever could.
I dont expect youll be here for long.
The minute you walked in the door I started calculating how long it would take you to walk back out.
Most people would have given up by now.
But you look like a fixer.
I can feel you trying to take down the walls Ive spent so long building and reinforcing.
You should stop now.
Behind them lies the same bitter paranoia that I exhibit everyday.
If this is what you really want.
Go for it.
Just remember that so many much stronger than you have fallen.
But, if youre still here in the morning.
Dont let me go.
And, more importantly dont let me, let you go.
