we sit in our circle the beat it plays trying to speak but words to hidden in haze with great thought and spiritual release just stuck on walls with two many beliefs huddled cold but with no heat the drum gets old buried in the street the city fine in rich mans eyes building their towers solid in the sky
walking the beat within a sullen trance trying to forget all the other rants sitting in tree's swinging on vines writing with wood missing the line's how to make sense is lost in me another clone trying to be me
longing in wolfs clothes sitting in the pack two many wolves i can sense there attack disgusted in stares another freewill in their place monsters in formthe can't even look at there face dog dead tired and smelling like reign such i lovely day so burdened with pain
but as the poor stay poor and the greed kills the land building your towers two one day touch god slashing our tree's for the perfect log the more we kill the less we feel inside so murder your own everything must die its not me who has to live with the lies

Right on, Relic. Right on. Your writing always makes a grand statement. This one spoke volumes. Well done as always, my friend.
Peace and hugs,
Laura (hippienurse) *smiles* |

| Good poem, but, WOW, is it that bad outside your circle? |
