Time and time again I find myself here
this state of mind that I wish would consume me
make the rest of this destructive world fade away
just so I could stay here holding you for that second longer.
That scent, haunts me, still lingers in my memory
driving me to the point of insainity that crazy's would be proud of
my body seems to run on empty since that moment, you walked away
leaving me here with the memory of the way you were.
Photographic memory of you lying there beside me all those times ago
the way your body curved, the rise and the fall of you chest
the sound of you trying to get comfortable in the warmth of me and these bedsheets
you strength as you pull me close, that unbreakable clasp.
That strikingly beautiful look of you sleeping
as your lips would part ever so slightly and breath warm air upon my skin
even though I still am graced by your presence from time to time
still seems as though your gone, that speck thats just out of my reach.
I miss you!
