The aroma of coffee is so strong
I thought I was actually drinking it
I took a deep breath
And know I just had to get one for myself
I scanned through the menu
Not knowing what to get to wake myself up
I looked up and saw you
You had a pair of very beautiful eyes
I was stunned, just standing there looking like a fool
I forgot what I ordered
I forgot I even ordered
You smiled and gave my change back
And as I turn to leave the place
I know I am already fully awake
Not by the coffee that is in my hand
But by your mesmerizing eyes and smile
I smiled and walked out
Hoping I could see you again tomorrow

this is a cute write.. it reminds me of one of my favorite movies but written and a different way serendipity.. great job here though this is very delightful.

Mmmm I love coffee and I could just smell the aroma in my favorite coffee house....delicious. I could see the eyes as well, that is such a connection...eyes meeting eyes. Delightful read, let us know about the next encounter....*smiles*
