Kismet

Contributed by sojourner on Friday, 13th July 2007 @ 02:13:23 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

She draws nigh unto me
like a rolling mist
coming in from the sea

The overwhelming essence of her being
clings to my flesh

Mesmerizing, are her eyes
drawing my spirit from within
taking my senses to places
they have never been

Her voice, is as a whispering wind
moving through my mind
echoing, follow me, follow me
leave this world behind

Journey now with me
to a far away land
reach out too love
take hold of my hand

For I am neither devil nor angel
but your destiny
and for a moment in time
you shall be one with me

I'll give you today
but promise not tomorrow
for where there is love
there is also sorrow

Wow this is just purely beautifull. Still the last staza remeinds one of the sorrow. Reality at it's best.
huggs, smiles,

Very soothing and heart wrenching at the same time. Every word paints a beautiful picture with such tragedy. The last four lines are hauntingly beautiful. Very well done... ~justin~
