There are so many things
I wish that I could say
but I am not brave enough,
I am too afraid to find a way.
I am afraid you will tell me
that you no longer care,
And I know if you did,
it would be only fair.
I never had a reason
to really let you go
But I have a reason not,
When there's nothing I can do.
I tossed away your love
Because I was too afraid to be yours.
I didn't even realize I was burning bridges
and slamming doors.
I wish I could see you
Just one more time..
I need to know if there's a chance
To turn back time...
Once more make you mine.

wow this is very powerful and soo sad.. i can feel the sadness and regret in this.. maybe if you talk to the person it will help.. they probably need closure and if you left them they deserve at least that.. very well expressed
