The face of your madness
The madness of my face
Can you keep up
In this emotion race?

Your ups and downs
They're just too much
Just like you asking
For me to trust

The gross track record
You've put on file
Has the advantage
Of shooting down my smile

Nevermind the frown
It's not what you think
It's just a smile
Crushed under agony

This big black weight
I can't describe
I wish you could see it
And save me the time

Of having to explain
Yet another thing
Against the grain
Of your insane

I wish you could see it
So I didn't have to.
