These days are hard,
The hours long.
All the hope
Is long since gone.
The fragments of
A mirror shattered
Reflect my thoughts,
Confused and scattered.
Fragmented, my
Reflection laughs
At all the questions
My mind asks.
Why here? why now?
Why lost not found?
Why by these fears
Am I still bound?
Unsure of what
Is next to come
Now that my dreams
Have been undone.
Exhausted heart,
I lie here still.
I cannot move,
I've not the will.
