A Connection Beyond Flesh.

Heart pounding
Against the chambers of my chest
The echo is resounding
I can hear you calling
And I can feel you crawling
Moving under my skin
Cradling me from within
As two become one
We melt into the most beautiful thing under the sun
A flawless essence of one presence
A connection beyond flesh
Bound together
Like a blanket of human mesh
Draped across the body of forever
Embraced like two lovers at death
Breathing the life of each others last breath
The empire of us, our holy place
Suspended in a state of perfect grace
God looks upon us with envy from above
The Saints deem us sacred
And the angels bleed our love
So truly blessed
To be able to carry your heart next to mine
Etombed delicately inside my chest
Cuz where you lay is where I rest
And until my dying day...
You will always be a part of me
In every beautiful way.
