Have you ever see a shooting star?
They say we can see it on a very rare occasion
On a very special occasion
I have not seen one
But when I got to know you
I think I saw a glimpse of that in my life
Not as bright as I thought it would be
But enough for me to be thankful
Thankful for the laughs and secrets we shared
Thankful for the love I am able to give you
Thankful just for the chance to know you
And I am thankful for being able to write
These 3 words to you
I love you.
