The Quick Evolution Of One

They're here, yes! they've arrived
quick-smile-look alive

Happy, smiling faces
acting like thers nothing wrong
but when they leave
you wished they stayed for
oh so long

They left...no! they're gone
damn! the time now is to
wish you were never born

Screams and abuses come from that someone
but you dont even know
what you have done

whatever you did,
you really didnt mean it
but as if she (that certain someone)
gives a *****

all her anger
comes out on her very own kids
the innocent is the one,
she punches and hits

then the victim cries in the shower
and thinks she deserved it all
and in there she wishes
she would sumhow slip and fall

then that sumone, might, just might
give a *****
but at the time,
felt like she wouldnt,
not one single bit

you cry and cry
and punche the wall, to hurt yourself even more
the tears,
they're heavy
they pour and pour

your eyes are sore from the stinging
of the tears
its the same act happening again
that you fear

Afraid to step out of the shower
afraid to start again
you thought that sumone was a loving one
a happy one
a friend

thats how she acts when
other people are around
a new kind of person, you, yourself
had found

she talks so nicely
so kind and so sweet
its only when she wants her to do something,
she knows it

they you try and try
to do the best you can
and while your doin that,
she says its you
she cant stand

you wanna fight back
yet u wanna run away
you wanna call someone to talk about it
yet you cant find the words to say

they would think you would be lying
they wouldnt think your true
they would never believe that abusing
is something this someone
will do

and every single morning,
you dont wanna get up
to face it all again
scared to face the monster
who was supposed to be your friend.
