your words are hateful, wretched, and cruel I wish you let the world see this side of you you talk about how you don't like how SHE is yet the words you spit out are drenched in her hate possessed by your own selfishness you cannot see any other way than what you think is right never traveling the roads I must travel never wide awake at night you never have to hold a dollar and wonder what to do because one baby needs diapers and another needs shoes Many mistakes I have made many wrong turns I have taken but I say to you this, I am who I am and you may simply take it or spit upon it Though I may be in blood what God has intended, I am not so low as to be in the lottery of what you think is right My children are who I think of in each decision I have made not whether I hurt your pride by grasping at each oppurtunity as I have said before we know you are always right but I am tired of the hate and the anger coming from the two of you I will be for my children the woman I think I should hoping in the end to come to a greater good One day you will eat your words the two of you, on a plate for I will not be here to listen anymore and you will think of all the uselessness filled into your brains and wonder if perhaps there were other ways to spend a passing day I am so blessed by the love of God with the family he undeservingly gave me that my blessings I shall count rather than the misgivings the world has dealt me so sit upon your perch dear hearts and know just who you are and happier you will be each time I fall upon my face.. but I promise you I may fall but I will always stand and brush the pain away for many mistakes I have made many wrong turns I have taken but each dead end was given a hill on which I have always climbed and I will continue to do this task until I can no longer because it is for my blessings that I live and not for what you dream the snakes tongue lives inside you venomous and cruel but each bitter bite you attempt to take will simply be in vain because I refuse to be a part of hate in the lifetime that remains

Strong words considering such suffering.
These lines in particular shone out for me:
"you never have to hold a dollar
and wonder what to do
because one baby needs diapers
and another needs shoes"
Because of how they are simple things that are so often taken for granted.
Nice write, keep 'em coming!

this is a very deep heartfelt write.. very powerful.. I can understand where your coming from.. I think everyone has a side of the family with this problem where they think they are better or look down on you because of something that doesn't really matter. but this is well said.. hang in there.
Rock on,

This oozes determination. There are plenty of snakes in the grass but having read this 'let ''em have it' piece,I feel sure you have the antidote for the most venomous of serpents.Good for you,I like 'let 'em have it' writing.
