Off course on a bleak, desolate ocean, That heaves and rises with the undercurrents of anxiety,
My bright mind, floundered in the murky depths, My buoyant heart, was battened down, My soft blue eyes, were frozen over,
With no compass to guide me, I look towards veiled stars,
Yet the eerie ambiance of silent snow fall, Envelopes me in frozen fear, And the winds erratic persona, That twists around me, Deals the bitter lashes of a satire, The cruel ropes that ensnare my body, Focus to overwhelm a resilient spirit,
Yet, I was guided away by spectres of fate The sails blew me onto a new course, Towards you,
A beacon of light of absolute brilliance, That gentle smile, That warm embrace, The dazzling features upon your face,
Casting off my fear, My frozen eyes melted into jubilant tears, My bright mind ascended, As my heart surrendered to you,
Together we will navigate the sea-sons of life.

Beautiful write, I love poetry with metaphoric value, particularly ones about the sea or nature.
Splendid images too!
Glad that you were able to navigate those seas and find someone to join you on your journey.
Take care,
Dom |
