I could spend eternity loving you
but when my time on earth is through,
what will others do?
For they would not have love I scattered there,
Knowing there is tons to share.
Would you inflict me with restraint?
Brush on selfish limit paint,
To the corners of my heart?
Loving you is part of me,
The others share my soul that's free.
No envy, jealous nature need live there.
For soul has tons of love that it can spare.

ND, how absolute in all its beauty! And there is a very wise
message here that all should heed. Love is, indeed the one
thing that is in endless supply, costs nothing to give, but is
of immeasurable worth to those its bestowed upon. Plus, it is
the one thing that actually enlarges the heart of the giver,
methinks.
Beautiful piece, from a beautiful soul.

Love is what roxie typed but..can it be unconditional in ALL aspects..........I dont know, exactly....i question that.......unless the heart has been hurt to hard, and now, well could really love and is scared........it should be easy......Why isnt it???? Wonderful write

So beautifully penned, the last stanza say it all..
"Loving you is part of me,
