For far too long
You just can't see
The ground you defend
As hypocrisy
The things you do
The things you say
To fill the gaps
In your day to day
Sitting to figure
How it went wrong
Looking for answers
In movies, books, songs
Looking for
The one little thing
That has eluded you
Act, write or sing
Go through the motions
To work it all out
What have you gathered
From artistic shouts?
You settle down
To take a breath
Finding great comfort
In exhausted rest
The circles you run
Just to get it out
To clear the vessel
For another bout

| Wasnt really sure where this poem was going but i liked its pace. It held well through the whole poem. |
