Sanity

Topic: Lifepoems

Some Days I Just Can't Deal With It
I Can't Deal With People
I Can't Deal With Anything
I Need Some Time Alone
Take A Break
A Day Off
Stay At Home All Day
In Bed With The Covers Over My Head
I Can't Face Facts
Or Confront Reality
The Covers' My Safe Blanket
Saves me From Going Insane
On Of Those Days
You Can't Put Up With The Crap
Can't Put Up With Anything
Tired Of Going Through
The Same Old Bull*****
Every Damn Day
Need To Step Back
Take A Look At Life
Some Time For The Mind
To Roam And Wonder Freely
So Can Think Clearly
A Day To Just Cry
For Whatever The Reason
Let It Out From Inside
It's One Of Those Days
When You Feel Week Mentally And Phsyically
Need A Day Off
Away From The Pain And The Hurt
Away From Everything
To Relax
Take A Breather
Not To Play Hooky
Or Fake Sick
It's A Mental Kind Of Thing
A Sanity Day
Everybody Needs One Once In Awhile
So They Can Be Back On Their Way
Happier And Healthier For Tomorrow

Really good poem.... might be better if you could somehow split it up into managable chucnks. When I looked at it I felt a bit like "Oh, God! I have got to read all this" because it looks like a hell of a lot to read. If you could break it doen into four or six paragraph, it would be a bit easier on the eye and, hence, easier to read.

Just an idea

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
