Today would have been your 48th wedding Anniversary,
As I see you Dad sit & weep,
I know you still lives in misery,
your love for her you still keep,
How blessed us children are for this was the day you both wed,,
with out it,we wouldnt be here,
moms not here to share it,so this day you now dread,
we all share in the tears,
I wish I could change the hands of time,
to make mom be here with you,
A day that was once so devine,
vows were taken by you two,
A precious day when my parents became one,
spoke of their true love,
March 3rd your lifes have just begun,
thanking the Lord up above,
Now Moms in Heaven not celebrating here with you,
I'm sorry for that,dad,
but she will be there helping you to get through,
because theres a bond that you two had,
I love you both,my parents,my friends,
For this I will respect all of my days,
Remembering the love till time ends,
The memories will forever stay!
