That Night...

Contributed by Silent-Cry on Monday, 3rd March 2003 @ 09:00:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

She was too young, not even nineteen
That night she looked as beatiful as she had ever been
The pale moon enlightened her face
The light was turned off,her eyes brightened up the place

But the words that fell out of her mouth
Were dripping hate and insanity
"Your fault!"She cried
It's because of you that I'll die
And when I'll be dead it will be too late to cry
I hate the way you didn't love me right
Oh how cruel were those lies you made me believe!
In my private sky you were a star shining so bright...
And my eyes were oh-so blinded by your light!..."

As she said so out of nowhere she took a knife
And as she stabbed herself in the moonlight
Bloodstaining a skin so beautiful,so white
Of such a pure heart stealing the life
Hot,burning tears of sorrow rolled down my cheeks
As I witnessed,shuddering,that night
The end of our story,a tale that wasn't right.
