These imbeciles surround me
they can't appreciate the anger i feel towards thee
towards myself for letting you go
They'll never know!
how could they?
"I've lost a love" they say in jest
"it's not that bad!" then why my chest?
do you burn and pound and cause unrest
"you're gone!" i cry
inside my mind
and if i checked i'm sure i'd find
you're happy
you've got a new man
I'd slice his throat on demand
and feel his blood run down my sleeve
as i probed with my thumb to make him bleed
but no i sit here on my bar stool
and smile and joke and play the fool
surrounded by these moronic tools
who claim to know how i feel for you.
