The facts are simple as far as I can tell.
Still they cloud my judgment to an enormous extent.
Where to find the solace that could resolve this burden.
And all the allegations have turned into a clich.
I am so not going through this again, not this time.
Too many empty bottles already on the kitchen table.
And I can dance to this music until I drop
My head's already spinning from the memories of you.
And I cannot tell anyone how it feels, what it's like
Why such trivial things mess me up inside
Call it lack of resistance due to a lack of love
It touched me a little and left me, deprived
My mother shows up with her piece of good advice
And I choke on her optimism as she forces it down
We will never finish this conversation or see eye to eye on this
but I suppose it's just a point of view

Awesome write. I really like the 2nd stanza. "Too many empty bottles already on the kitchen table./ And I can dance to this music until I drop"
