our young love story

Contributed by thebrokenyouth on Sunday, 26th August 2007 @ 06:38:25 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

We met by chance two years ago,
What would happen we didnt know,
Innocent hands shaking, holding one another,
Neither one of us had those feelings for any other,
Not knowing that it was love for you I decided to break your heart,
Screamo, drugs, and a hardcore life was what you turned to when we were apart,
A year after it all went down I called you, it was a first,
I asked you to the movies and sitting there not touching I thought that I would burst,
I kissed you for the first time that night and then was head over heels,
We were inseparable after that and I found the most addicting drug I could feel,
Love was what I was hooked on and it still is till today,
My parents found out about his use and threatened to move me away,
Being the good kid I was I broke up with you that night,
I cried myself to sleep for months and with my parents I always would fight,
I turned to skate trends, rock N roll, and lies,
When people brought up my love for you all I could do was deny,
Pulling away from my parents I led a rebellious life,
I wanted him back more than anything and to him I would strive,
Starting into high school I know to count on prayer,
I still strive for him but a truthful like I bear,
If God knows its meant to be then it will find a way,
If not then I have enough strength to turn and walk away,
Going through my love for him is lasting for so long,
But going through our trials only makes me strong,
Now I can give advice to teens that went through stuff like me,
Innocent, to vulnerable, to rebellion, is the life some choose to lead,
With a little guidance and wisdom from me and up above,
I hope you too learn to enjoy and thrive in your very own first love.
