The eyes are deceiving
They hide the true meaning
Of what it is that lies in store
My mind is wandering
Questioning and pondering
I open perceptions doors
Vibrant lights flashing
The candlelight dancing
Reality is no more
My mind lost in thought
Questioning what Ive been taught
I open perceptions doors

Simple but elegant. I love the fact that this could be interpreted in so many ways-it'll conjure up different mental images for anyone who reads it. Nice job.
