As I listened to the lies The ones Id told myself And thought that the excuses Were all that I had left
So I came to believe That the reasons were the blame Till I found that theres no difference And that theyre all the same
As each time it just got easier Than the time just before And every time it happened I tried to just ignore
That no matter at the difference Though it now seemed less and less Ive learned to just accept it Rather than try and clean the mess
