If one day we do meet
I wonder what will be the first word I say to you
Will it be hey or hi?
Or will it be hello?
Not wanting to make a fool out of myself
I think Ill settle for a hi
Then what is next
How are you? or Everythings fine I hope
Too shy to talk more
I feel How are you? is the safest approach
Then what
I dont know as I have already ran out of ideas
And I know youll be standing there laughing at me
That is when I will realize I have already broken the ice
Both of us standing there, laughing at each other
That is when I think no words need to be spoken
As I give you a hug that tells everything
A hug that says I miss you
A hug that says I am so glad to meet you
A hug that says I am so glad we are friends
