The Shining Tunnel Part 2

She is the light
that showed me the way
that the end was near
that I could reach

Her words comfort me
when I was lost
when my own mom wouldnt listen
she said it was all right
to take time off
while my mom still pushes

She let me see the light
the tunnel opens wide
for now I dont have to worry
about school and my mom
at least for now, Im free
