The Moments

Topic: SongLyrics

She never saw me around her
she never saw me at all

She never knew if I was dead
because she never knew me at all

but let me hold you in my arms
read between the lines again
because I was willing to be around you
but now this moment is gone

She never gets my phone calls
because I never call

She never hears me whispering
Because I said nothing at all

but let me hold you in my arms
read between the lines again
because I was willing to be around you
but now this moment is gone

Sometimes you dont say what you think
sometimes you dont even talk at all]
but Im to blame
I know its me
its me

I overheard that your homesick
since you have been away from home

I know its just part of your tricks
to leave me here all alone

but let me hold you in my arms
read between the lines again
because I was willing to be around you
but now this moment is gone

This is a good piece, filled with longing. The latter two lines of the chorus are maybe just a little weak, seemingly not as good words-to-meaning ratio. But all around, good work.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
