She's fallen so much further down. Inconstant stability on liquid ground.
Tossing pennies into the silver wishing well, No water below Only the stigma of hell.
Wrapped in the ribbon of her cherished one. She's tied to the end of his perpetual thread, Willingly trailing to where she is led.
She refuses to be his trifling vestige, Even when maimed by disparaged prestige.
She's morphing within her stockade. A detainee within her own cocoon, To be a whimsical butterfly soon.
But she'll be the reflection in his eyes. The preeminent love, Their everlasting ties.
