I feel trapped
I feel lost
The harder I try to escape
The more I find myself buried.
If I'm confined
And you hold the chains
Where does that leave us now?
I feel stuck
I feel gone
I'm stuck in this life
That maybe I didn't choose.
If I'm held down
And you're pinning me
Where does that leave us now?
I feel heavy
I feel immobilized
The harder you squeeze
The further I slip away.
If I'm breaking free
And you're holding on
Where does that leave us now?
I feel dead
I feel alone
The more I bleed
The harder it is to stop.
If I break the chains
And you tangle yourself in them
Am I leaving us in pain?
I feel betrayed
I feel used
Those crimson regrets
Longing to forget.
If I'm no longer in your grasp
And you're left alone
Where does that leave us now?
